1	c	Breadcrumbs
2	ts	Dripping, to 3 ts of...
1	tb	Jam, plum
1	tb	Golden syrup
3	tb	Flour, self-raising
1	ts	Bicarbonate of soda
1	c	Milk
1/2	ts	Cinnamon
1/2	ts	Spice
		Dried fruit, as desired

Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in the milk. Mix all ingredients together and steam for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

This makes a good Christmas Pudding, or it can be used as a cake.
